Storm Front/Nature/Poetry

Storm Front

Hazed light permeates,

Clouds seldom, wisps so vague.

As rapturous silence ushers in,

clouds bulge with vapours tonnage,

The first drop to fall no one sees.

Warm torrents flow unchallenged,

But crisp dry claps rumble through

Like deified laughter.

Power streaks and surges,

Each bolt of life affirms.

Sagging black skies cry,

As glorious energies begin to spend.

Drop by drop the heat does fade,

No storm for long will last.

As the sky’s grand stage is cleared,

The first of lights loving rays,

Warms my cheek,

Which faces the emptying sky,

Filled once more by dreamy haze….
