States
This series, entitled states, are numerous musings on emotions, events, thoughts, Moods. There are a few loose threads running through them, tying them lossly together in a bunch, cheek and jowel, somewhat uncomfortably. They all spring from the same place, from a seemingly haunted and sombre source..

I remain but a stain.
blood deep- cut into the cloth
like a flickering moth heading for
Bickering moon beams
I had dreams, once.
But I got stuck.
Trapped in amber.
I have seen them come and go:
Through a winding path...
Author's Notes:
Regret: Everyone has regret. Some more than others. The aim with this poem is like the others in the series, not to show specific details or a thing that is 'regreted'
but use the imagery to give the reader a sense of regret at work in the piece.
