Poetry Home

Welcome. Below are the links to our poetry galleries. Our poetry is all original, unpublished work. It is eclectic, inspired by both classical poetry and modern poetry. The meaning is not always known, even to the authors. They range from surreal, to satire, to philosophical, and hopefully, thought provoking. Please comment on these pieces, let us know what you think. And enjoy!

Our Galleries

Everyone likes sonnets, try these, we have more than you can shake a spear at.

We know, politics is a dead art form. But its still worthy of being lampooned. We take on all comers, Tory's, Blairites, even Saint Obama. Vote with your feet and visit the gallery.

Anomalous Variables, poems that are refugees unwelcome in the other catagories. Random odd, obscure, it gets a little weird..

States is a gallery that is a mini anthology of sorts, poems linked loosely, on the topics of moods, emotions, feelings, and states
of being human.

Check out those few, those happy few, who've asked to be included/been selected for our guest gallery!
Visit our Nature Gallery, inspired by the nature of Britain, the North, as well as a look at urban nature, the city as an extention not an opposition to the 'green and pleasant land'

Have a look at our poems regarding modern Britain in all its youthful yet aging glory, taking in patriotism, class, and society in what ever time this is.

Life is something most people have in common. Poems about life from people who have little experience of it. Still...

Confessional poems, where people are at least honest in their deceptions. Some baulk at the supposed openess on offer here. But not you!

Philosophical poems sound very pretentious, and well, they are, but give them a go, you might like them. Some of them at least..
